Jordi Piñero 

During the course of 2014-15 engaged in the developement of an educational programme targeted to high IQ students from fourteen to sixteen years old dubbed SMARST for Scientific and Mathematical Reasoning Stimulation Programme.

 

The project consisted of a series of interactive lectures boosting problem solving skills and mathematical formalization. The programme took inspiration from the tradition of Polya and other great mathematical minds. Experimental set-ups in physics and chemistry were discussed, outlined and projected to reproduce.

 

In the future I intend to recover all the documents, exercises and mathematical problems to make them available to the public. This work was done in collaboration with the Fundacion Javier Berché.
